Simple Hatha yoga blended with embodied belly dance moves. Over the five weeks we explore a unique way to move in a more mindful way and embodied way. The sessions are taught by Tara a retired professional belly dancer and teacher with over twenty years experience in belly dance and embodied dance who has earned her place as not only an expert in what she does but a respected person who honours the people where the culture ofbelly dance and yoga originated from. You get a good introduction that is never watered down. Yoga has a great reputation for the mind body and soul benefits and embodied belly dance and mindful movement can be therapeutic ways to move and boost wellbeing. Alternative methods including gentle breath work relaxation and therapeutic dances of Egypt. Suitable for all ages and bodies! #yogaforall #danceforall

Yoga For Carers Workshop
The workshop is hosted by me ( Tara ) I am a yoga teacher and also a carer to two children with ASD. The workshop is especially put together with empathy experience and understanding of the roles responsibilities and pressures of carers. Suitable for parents / carers / caregivers of children with additional needs and disabilities along with carers of adults with additional needs and disabilities also. This is an introduction of how simple yoga can be of benefit to carers. No need for any experience at all (you are not expected to pretzel your body into different poses just show up as you are) the level of physical yoga that is taught at this workshop is absolute beginner level for every body and it is a gentle practice although those with experience who are carers are more than welcome. We will practicing other yoga techniques such as relaxation and gentle breath work. There is an opportunity to connect with others who share similar caring experiences as well as a chat and a cuppa (builders tea or herbal)
My intentions for this workshop is pure and simply to share my knowledge experience and techniques that I personally have benefited from in times of stress. I hope everyone who attends can learn to somthing new to help them on a day to day basis. This is just an introduction there is so much more to know and learn on the path of yoga but who know it may be somthing that you resonate with.
